However, it's important to note that ShipInsure operates independently from both the merchant and the shipping carrier. Our role is to provide coverage for packages in the unfortunate event that they are lost, stolen, or damaged during transit. We do not manage the specific order details, products, or the shipping process.
Due to these distinctions, we do not offer coverage for orders where the address was entered incorrectly. Additionally, we are unable to update the shipping address on an order, whether it's a newly placed order or a reshipment.
Address changes for orders are solely managed by the merchant, and occasionally by the shipping carrier. If you need to adjust the shipping address before the order has been shipped, you will need to contact the merchant directly. However, if the order has already been shipped, you should reach out to the shipping carrier to request an address adjustment.
