What types of damage are covered?

Policy on Damaged Items: A damaged item is defined as a product that is broken and cannot be used due to being clearly shattered, bent, crushed, or exhibiting similar damage.

Coverage Limitations: ShipInsure does not provide coverage for damages such as scratches, dents, manufacturing defects, packaging errors, or unsealed items.

Note: Once a package is marked as delivered, you have a maximum of 14 days to file a claim from the date the carrier changed the status to delivered. If more than 14 days have elapsed after the status was changed to delivered, ShipInsure cannot approve your claim.
