Third-Party Tracking Tools & Apps

Today, numerous third-party apps offer the convenience of tracking your orders while they're in transit. Undoubtedly, these apps provide a high level of convenience. However, sometimes this convenience doesn’t quite pan out as expected. Third-party tracking apps can occasionally encounter errors, resulting in incorrect information being provided.

Issues that may arise include orders not appearing at all for tracking on the app, tracking information being linked to the wrong order, or inaccurate delivery notifications.

At ShipInsure, we often encounter situations where a third-party app indicates a package has been delivered, only for it to be meant for a different package altogether or sent in error.

We strongly recommend always verifying the tracking information from your shipping confirmation email on the shipping carrier’s website directly before initiating any claim process. This can provide you with the most accurate and up-to-date information about your package. Additionally, it can offer details that the app may not provide, such as photos of the delivered package.
